Our aim

It's simple, we want acting and voice acting talent in the Southwest to thrive. Our goal is to see actors getting results and reaching their full potential.

We do this by delivering three services: personalised voice reels, engaging workshops for those who want to make that initial leap or learn a bit more about acting and voice acting, and specific coaching programmes for young actors applying for drama school.

Who we are

Compass Studio Exeter was founded by Jamie Hoskin, a qualified teacher and professionally trained actor and voice actor now based in the Southwest. He has worked in film, television, theatre and video games. His voice over work includes BAFTA winning film, Netflix TV, AAA video games known the world over and many audiobook projects found on Audible and other platforms.

Jamie's years of experience working in both the acting industry and education position him perfectly as a coach and director. His passion for performing and seeing others do well makes him a joyful, positive coach/director who elicits the best performance in a friendly, encouraging manner.
