Compass Studio Exeter Terms and Conditions

By purchasing any service from Compass Studio Exeter you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Voice Reels

·To produce a quality voice it requires a skilled performer who is well rehearsed. After the consultation and material is chosen actors must rehearse until very confident and familiar with all texts.

·Our voice reels are for trained/professional/experienced actors. If you are new to acting we strongly recommend you book coaching or a workshop before purchasing a reel. We can then see if it’s appropriate to record a reel.

·Our reels are put together carefully choosing the best takes you have produced. After receiving your completed reel one edit can be requested if there is a small change you would like to make.

·You will receive your Tracks as MP3’s but WAV files can be requested.

·We endeavour to deliver a finished Reel within two weeks of recording. In the unlikely event of unexpected delays we will inform you about when your reel will be ready.

·Reels should be booked at least 2 weeks in advance to allow enough time for material to be sourced and well rehearsed.

Cancellation policy for Workshops

Workshops: The booking is non-refundable if you cancel with less than 1 weeks notice. Cancellation more than than 7 days prior to the session will be entitled to a 50% refund.

We have the right to cancel and reschedule workshops at any time. The client will have the choice of a full refund or a place on the rescheduled workshop.

Cancellation policy for Reels

·We understand the complexity of actors’ schedules and last minute changes. If requested your session can be rescheduled once.

·Before the 72 hour period approaching your recording date If you request to cancel the session you will be entitled to a 50% refund.

·We have a 72 hour cancellation penalty prior to studio recordings. If you cancel within this time you will forfeit your £250 deposit.

Cancellation policy for Coaching

·For Script consultations and Coaching sessions we require 24 hours notice for cancellation. Where less notice is given the Client will be charged a £25 cancellation fee. ​

·​We reserve the right to cancel/reschedule your reel. Either a full refund will be offered or we will work with you to find another date suitable for you.
